Then, cut one slice of low-fat cheese into four parts and place it in the apple slice. Don't add too much cheese, because cheese contains high saturated fat.

Why is the low glycemic index important? The glycemic index (IG) is a food rating system that contains carbohydrates. This number is an indicator of how quickly the food consumed increases blood sugar levels in the body.

Foods with a low glycemic index do not quickly increase blood sugar if consumed according to serving size. Eating foods containing soy on a regular basis has a significant impact in helping maintain blood sugar levels and helps control appetite.
