The study involved 123 pregnant women and their babies divided into two groups. One group consumed salmon twice a week during pregnancy until birth. Whereas the other groups do not eat fish at all.

As a result, at the age of three, one in ten children diagnosed with asthma and almost all of these cases were not from the group that consumed salmon. Based on the findings, the researchers say that early nutrition interventions during pregnancy do have long-term effects on health.

The fatty acid content of salmon can improve the immune system

According to a study in the Journal of Nutrition, eating apples per day can reduce the risk of getting respiratory disease by improving lung function because apples contain powerful antioxidants called flavonoids.

That is why pregnant women who often eat apples, the children they live with can avoid asthma which can develop when the baby is born. In other words, eating apples during pregnancy can reduce the risk of children getting asthma.

Besides being good for babies in the womb, apples also have good properties for children. Apples that contain high quercetin in them, will have a good effect in the form of anti-histamine, antioxidants and anti-inflammatory in the body of someone who has asthma.
