What is shingles?
Shingles is a contagious skin disease caused by a virus Varicella zoster. UIn fact, humans who have contracted this disease will have it for life, but the symptoms will only appear when the immune system is declining.
When a person has chickenpox and has recovered or is good, if his immune system decreases again, the chickenpox virus that was previously dead will come back to life. This virus will spread to the peripheral nerves to the skin, with the form of a red nodule filled with water with a feeling of heat and itching. The most common areas are the arms, chest and face. This virus also attacks only one region of the innervation of the skin.
Symptoms of shingles
There are some symptoms that will appear if you have shingles:
