If you provide packaged food to your child who is experiencing chickenpox, then pay attention to whether the food contains trans fat, which is sometimes listed as 'diglyceride' or 'monoglyceride' in packaged foods. Avoid foods such as seral, bread, pastries, and snacks which are included in the processed food group.
