If you accept it with a feeling of heaviness, fear, a feeling of wanting to run away, then you might experience it distress. The wisest thing you can do is to face the problem directly to the point or "run away" and look for things that can keep you away from sources of stress.

But, if you accept it without fear, and you become motivated, feel your life is full of challenges that you have to solve like playing video game, that's eustress.

What are the characteristics of stress (eustress)?

You need to know some characteristics from eustress so that you better understand it by example your daily conditions. The following are characteristics of eustress:

  • Motivate yourself
  • Make you feel intrigued
  • Increase your performance at work
  • It usually only happens for a while
  • Is a way to cope with stress itself

Eustress make you feel you have to work on that big project seriously, find money for the delivery of your first child with enthusiasm, or prepare your presentation carefully.

  • Wedding
  • Buy a house
  • Traveling
  • Try new hobbies

Poor stress can be changed to good stress
