Symptoms and signs of penis blisters
1. If caused by an infection
Signs that occur due to infection are usually reddish and blisters can invade easily (bullous impetigo); there are small blisters and the skin may feel itchy or red before infection (herpes).
2. If it is caused by a skin disease
The main symptoms are sore throat and genitals, muscle aches, and coughing. Dermatitis can cause itchy blisters, while Pemphigus tends to attack painful areas.
3. If caused by drugs
Usually this causes bleeding blisters in the penis area, respiratory tract, and digestive tract. This condition is very serious and cannot be ignored.
How to treat blisters
There are many treatment methods that you can take, such as:
- Taking painkillers that can help reduce pain;
- Using anesthesia can relieve pain and itching. (Before using this type of ointment, you should consult a doctor first, because there are some people who are very sensitive to gels).
- If you also experience pain when urinating, you can soak in warm water or with water flowing over the genital area.
- Wrap some ice with a towel and place it on the blister area for a maximum of 10 minutes. You may not put ice for too long because it will burn your skin.
- Don't use scented soap to wash the penis. Use a cleanser that is soft with salt, or with water and cotton. Dry the area with a hair dryer, because it's more convenient than using a towel.
- Drink more water to make the urine not too strong, so that urinating will be easier.
- Use lubricants during sexual activity to prevent blisters from happening again.
- If genital herpes is the cause, it cannot be cured, but can be treated effectively with antiviral drugs.
