Outside the function as a 'curtain' of sweat, dust and dirt filters so as not to enter the eyes, it turns out that the eyebrows also have important social functions as a marker of emotional expression and facial recognition processes.

Based on the above reasons, our perceptions and views of others will unconsciously automatically be attracted to their eyebrows (and our own eyebrows); how and when their eyebrows move, and what they look like when they are moved. As a result, we spend a lot of time and effort in forming beautiful eyebrows in order to leave a deep impression on others.

If you don't want to spend deeply in order to form your ideal eyebrows at the salon, don't be afraid to start yourself at home.

The steps form the eyebrows themselves

Before starting, prepare the tools you need to form eyebrows:

  • Eyebrow pencil
  • Eyebrow brush
  • Special tweezers grooming eyebrow
  • Small scissors for grooming

All you have to do:

  1. Map your eyebrows first. Start by holding an eyebrow pencil parallel to the outermost side of your nostril. The tip of the eyebrow pencil is where your eyebrows should start. Remember, the deepest end of the eyebrow must remain parallel to the line of your nose. To determine the highest point of the brow curve, slide the tip of the pencil into the outer corner of the iris (the pencil rod should not move from your nostrils). To find out where your eyebrows should end, slide the tip of the eyebrow pencil to the outermost corner of the eye. Don't forget to mark each point to make it easier for you when pulling your eyebrows.
  2. Comb your eyebrows. Using an eyebrow brush, comb your eyebrows upwards. Cut the edges of the eyebrow hair that looks long and not uniform. Then, comb the eyebrows down as before.
  3. Now, it's time to pull out the eyebrows. With tweezers, pull out the fine hairs that are outside the "map" of your eyebrows. Unplug in the direction of growth. Tips, starting from the bottom row, then move to the top row and outer side of the eyebrow. Don't pull more than two rows of hair to maintain the natural shape of your eyebrows. However, if you want a more dramatic curved brow, you can pull out a few extra lines below your eyebrow curve points.
  4. Paint eyebrows. Eyebrow shading uses an eyebrow pencil to fill places that look thin. Then, brush the inner side of the eyebrows to achieve a beautiful natural brow appearance.

Tips and tricks for successfully pulling out eyebrows

Pulling your eyebrows to get an eyebrow shape that fits your face can be a complicated routine, not to mention very painful. Check out the tips below to facilitate the process of removing your eyebrows at home.

Choose quality tweezers

Choose a pair of tweezers that are sturdy and tilted, not like a clamp, but still sharp. This type of tweezers is more powerful to hold fine hair without pulling your skin.

Remove the eyebrows after taking a warm bath

Warm water helps open the pores and hair follicles, also softens the hair. This will make it easier for you to pull your eyebrows without having to pull it tight.

Don't use a magnifying mirror

A magnifying mirror can make you estimate the amount of eyebrow hair to be removed, even though you should not need to pull out that much. Use an ordinary mirror in a bright room. Every time you have pulled out a few hairs, mudur and reflect all over your face to make sure you don't overdraw.

Relieve pain

After removing the eyebrows, it's natural to feel pain or irritation around the eyebrow area. To reduce it, you can use a cortisone cream or aloe gel.

Finally, if you feel unsure about the shape of your eyebrows, or you experience an 'incident' that is pulling too many eyebrows, you should visit the nearest eyebrow salon. Even if you are a person who does not routinely do eyebrow treatments at the salon, they can provide consultation on how to form the best eyebrows for you as a guide for you to do at home.
