1. Definition

What is nose trauma?

Most punches that hit the nose will cause the nose to bleed, bruise, or swell, but not to cause a break. If a blow to the nose causes a break, the X-ray of the nose will not show it clearly. The action to be taken when the nose is hit is to let the nose swelling disappear until four days. If the shape of the nose becomes bent and different from before, then the person who experiences a blow to the nose should be referred to an ENT specialist. If a nasal fracture includes a mild fracture. then the treatment will be delayed temporarily to see further the state of the nasal bone.
