What is prurigo?

What are the causes of prurigo?
The cause of prurigo is not certain. Because, this condition will only appear after you constantly scratch the area of the itchy skin to cause blisters.
Experts suspect this is due to thickening of the nerve endings of the skin. When you scratch it, the skin nerves actually become more sensitive and trigger prolonged itching. Infection of the wound gets worse and leaves a scar that is hard to lose.

1. Insect bites
Although this does not occur directly, itching due to the bite of mosquitoes or other insects can trigger the sensation of wanting to scratch until the itchiness disappears. Instead of relieving itching, this can actually cause more severe infections until they leave scars on the skin.
2. Stress

3. Certain health problems
