What is virginity?
Virginity is a concept and social norm, not a medical condition. Therefore, the meaning of virginity is certainly different for everyone. 1. Hymen
Many people believe that virginity can be seen from whether a person's hymen is still intact. This is why people believe tests to test virginity are possible and necessary. In fact, the hymen cannot be used as a measure of virginity.
The hymen is a thin and flexible layer that protects the vaginal opening from the inside. This layer has various forms. Most hymen is hollow in the middle. This allows the release of blood during menstruation. However, there are also women whose hymen only has very small holes that are prone to tears. This hymen can tear at any time, for example when exercising, riding a bicycle, dancing, falling, having sex, and many other possibilities. Having sex is not the only reason a woman's hymen is torn.
Women who have sex may have their hymen intact. This is because some women have a very strong hymen or a large enough hole so that the penis can enter without tearing the layer. Tampons can also enter the vagina without damaging the hymen.

Because every woman has a hymen whose properties and shapes vary, there is no particular way to test a woman's virginity just from seeing her hymen. The hymen that has been torn is usually characterized by skin marks that are cracked around the vaginal opening without the membrane. 2. Bloody vagina
This myth has its roots in similar beliefs, namely virginity can be tested by looking at the hymen. One symptom of a torn hymen is bleeding in the vaginal area. So people believe that every woman should bleed during her first sex.
In fact, the hymen tear does not always cause bleeding. Or sometimes the bleeding that occurs is very mild so it's not realized at all. Remember, some women have a very thin hymen so the damage is not so severe as to cause bleeding. Meanwhile, there is a thick hymen so that damage can cause bleeding. Therefore, it is not true that a virgin is bleeding when he first has sex.

3. Women's sexual passion
