Other experts suggest, to get 240 to 320 milligrams of polyphenols every day, then the recommended consumption of green tea is around two to three glasses per day for healthy people.

Therefore, three cups per day is a reasonable amount for healthy people. However, the dose of drinking green tea does need to be considered because if consumed too much it will cause side effects on the body.

Especially if you have certain health conditions such as insomnia (insomnia), gastric acid reflux (GERD), iron deficiency anemia, and so on. The reason is, the caffeine content may make you more insomnia and stomach acid can be triggered up. As for iron deficiency anemia, most green tea will make it harder for the body to absorb and fulfill iron intake.
