"Why am I single?" You might have asked yourself this. Singles status seems to make most people not confident. If you keep wondering why it's hard to find a boyfriend, try introspecting yourself first to find the answer.
Why am I single?
Don't just wonder why you have a hard time finding a girlfriend or having a hard time staying in a relationship. It's better to do the following steps of self-reflection.
1. Try to look back
Try turning your memory back some time ago when you still had a partner. Then answer this question honestly:
- How many of your ex-lovers and how long does the relationship last?
- What usually causes you and your ex-lover to part?
- What is the happiest thing you have ever experienced in a relationship?
Of all these questions, try searching again and find out how your relationship has been in the past. What type of person do you usually go to You could find it hard to find a boyfriend because in your social environment there really isn't a partner you desire.
Besides that, maybe you still feel at home yourself because the separation in the past still leaves a pain that cannot be eliminated. So you are kind of stuck with the trauma of the past that still keeps shackling.
By trying to assess yourself from the relationship that you have lived in the past, you will slowly begin to repay the answer, "Why are I still single?".
2. Consider your attitude so far
In addition to assessing your past relationships, you also need to look deep into how you behave when dating. Try to remember, are you more often demanding and blaming than listening to your partner?
If it is difficult to judge yourself, try asking your friend. Then, keep in mind what things the couple have been complaining about during your relationship. Are you selfish, never a good listener, or maybe unfaithful.

4. Think of your future
