It is known that pregnant women whose sleep quality is poor for 4 days a week have a 4.2 times greater chance of having a caesarean section. While pregnant women who have poor sleep quality for 5 days a week are at risk of having cesarean surgery 5.3 times greater than in pregnant women who sleep with good quality and sufficient time.

What are the other side effects of lack of sleep during pregnancy?

  • Exercise at least 30 minutes per day. Sports can make your sleep quality better.
  • Make your room dark and no sound can disturb your sleep when you sleep at night.
  • Sleep on your left side, because this is good for the health of your kidneys, uterus, and bladder.
